Dr. Michelle Wendt, L.Ac., DACM is the founder & owner of Indigo Healing Acupuncture, PLLC. With over fifteen years of clinical experience solving complex medical cases, her purpose is helping her patients find their way out of discomfort and back into a life that feels like their own again.

Dr. Michelle completed her Master of Science Degree at the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Hawaii and the State of Texas. She is a certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) by the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM™). Dr. Michelle completed her Doctoral studies in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She also holds a double-major Bachelors degree and two Masters degrees.

During her doctoral program, Dr. Michelle completed a clinical rotation at Dripping Springs Pediatrics and built a bridge to integrative medicine.

Dr. Michelle uses combinations of acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, laser acupuncture, dry needling, moxibustion, fire cupping, BioMat infrared therapy, ozone (O3) therapy, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) Therapy, PEMF Therapy, functional medicine, meditation, HeartMath, and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine to improve the health and well-being of her patients.

Dr. Michelle specializes in treating Chronic Pain/Illness, Fertility & Pregnancy Support, Pediatric Conditions, Migraine, Headaches, Insomnia, Anxiety, and Grief.  As an IVF mama and survivor of chronic migraine, she is passionate about helping patients suffering from infertility and chronic headaches.

In January 2025, Dr. Michelle was accepted into the prestigious Health Care Practitioner Program of the Inner Health Coalition (IHC), led by Dr. Joe Dispenza and his global research team. IHC’s mission is to implement a robust meditation and self-regulation treatment model, enabling Dr. Michelle’s patients to heal more effectively, while creating a paradigm shift in standard clinical practice and healthcare culture worldwide. In June 2025, Dr. Michelle became a Certified facilitator of Dr Joe Dispenza’s “Back to Balance” Meditation Series. Following completion of Dr Joe’s Healthcare Practitioner Program and membership in his Inner Health Coalition, she received additional training from Dr Joe to integrate four meditation practices into therapeutic protocols to enhance patient and client wellness. Dr. Michelle is also a HeartMath® Certified Practitioner.

Dr. Michelle is a local business leader in Austin and Dripping Springs. As a community outreach project of Indigo Healing Acupuncture and Massage, Dr. Michelle is the Creator of Opportunities (COO) of MPOWER Dripping Springs, a collaborative networking group of over 1,000 female entrepreneurs. She was elected to serve a double-term on the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is currently Vice-Chair. She also serves on the Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) Advisory Committee for Career and Technical Education (CTE). From January 2023-December 2025, she served on the Board of the Dripping Springs Education Foundation (DSEF).

Dr. Michelle has been a featured guest on episodes of the DigitalMarketer Podcast and Mallett and Michelle on Dripping Springs. She has earned multiple awards and was featured on a national TV show for her unique approach to holistic medicine.
